National Council of Women Victoria Inc. celebrations 5th March 2012,
YOUNG PEOPLE SPEAK.
An annual event in the NCWV calendar has been the celebration in the Legislative Council Chamber of the Victorian Parliament and followed by morning tea refreshments in Queens Hall.
The emphasis is on young people and this year was no exception.
The MC was a Quwwn's Guide; the guest speakers were students up to the age of 14 years who were winners at State and National level of the Legacy Public Speaking competitions.
Several schools from inner city and as far as Geelomg participated in the audience while all were entertained by a performance of the Australian Children's Choir.
The Victorian Minister of Health, introduced the event.
